Anime at SIGGRAPH

32nd International Conference on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques
SIGGRAPH 2005 will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 31 to August 4, 2005.
Last year the 3D parade scene from Ghost in the Shell: Innocence was selected to be displayed at the Siggraph Electronic Theater.
This year, scenes from an animation called Dice (not D.I.C.E.), produced at the Kyoto Seika University, will be shown as part of the Electronic Theater from August 1 to 3. Directed by Hitoshi Akayama, Dice was a finalist at the 2004 Japan Media Arts Festival in the Visual Image category. Although it did not win the category, it received a recomendation as an excellent work from the Adjudicators Committee.
Scenes from "Final Fantasy XII", "Recapturing the Lost Colors of BASARA" (not Legend of Basara), a YKK commerical called "Evolution" and Samuroid Zero will be shown as part of the computer animation festival.
