News International Anime Distribution attempts to legalize fansubs

International Anime Distribution (or IAD) has sent out this press release announcing their lofty intentions to work with Japanese producers, American licensors and fansubbers to provide a pay-per-episode download service a'la iTunes for subtitled anime.
