Otaku Unmasked Conversation in New York

Dai Sato and Hiroki Azuma Talk About the Death and Rebirth of Japanese Pop Culture.

On November 30, the Japan society will host a conversation between Dai Sato, screenwriter of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Cowboy Beebop, and Samurai Champloo, and Hiroki Azuma, acclaimed Japanese philosopher and cultural critic, on the “death” and “rebirth” of Japan's pop culture.

"Otaku Unmasked The Life, Death & Rebirth of Japan's Pop Culture" will take place at 6:30 PM at Japan Society, 333 East 47th Street, New York, NY 10017 (between First and Second Avenues).
