A young man tries to battle back against giant humanoids who feast on humans in this graphic, visceral, and fantastically intense action/horror story. Its great strengths overcome writing and production value inconsistencies.

If this film causes more permanent damage than most Pokémon outings, that's wholly the fault of its main character, Keldeo.

Great artistry, excellent theme songs, lots of laughs, and a touch of romance – what more could you ask for from an anime comedy? (Well, okay, there's no fan service, but still. . .) Another strong entry in a very entertaining series.
