Robert's Anime Corner Store to sell Prefectural Earth Defense Force at cost.
Following the removal of Prefectural Earth Defense Force from online stores The Right Stuf International and Anime Nation, Robert's Anime Corner Store has posted the following statement:
ADV created a minor controversy with retailers after announcing that the release of the Prefectural Earth Defense Force OAV will be available from ADV only and will not be offered to dealers. This came after several retailers had already started taking pre-orders for the title, and is a great example of why we don't always rush to be the first to post a new item for pre-order. I was very disappointed by this, but contacted ADV to see if they would allow us to carry the title as a 'pass through' item, meaning we will stock it and sell it to customers at cost ($12.98). ADV agreed, and I'm glad that we were able to make arrangements so that RACS customers will be able to obtain the title here.
