Variety lists Studio 4°C co-founder Eiko Tanaka among the 60 people who will shape the future of the Cannes Film Festival, the most prestigious international event of its kind. Tanaka started out as a producer on such Studio Ghibli movies as My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service. She is now one of rare female chiefs of an anime studio, one whose specialty is corralling diverse talents for the Animatrix, Mind Game, and more recently, Tekkon Kinkreet. Her studio's next projects are the Genius Party anthologies with Shinichiro Watanabe, Shoji Kawamori, Yoko Kanno, and over a dozen other directors and creators.
