News Manga Author Taizō Yokoyama Passes Away

On June 10, four-panel manga author Taizō Yokoyama died of pneumonia at his home in Kanagawa Prefecture. He was 90. Taizō first began drawing manga in the postwar era while helping his brother Ryūichi, who created the popular manga Fuku-chan. Taizō is best known for his political four-panel manga Shakai Gihyō (Sarcastic Social Criticism), which was serialized in the Asahi Shinbun newspaper for 38 years. Source: Yomiuri Online

Overall, neither Pokemon the Movie: Black or its White counterpart really stands out from the already packed herd. While not terrible, these are films that can be safely left alone unless you or your child have a compulsion to truly catch 'em all.

Hiiro no Kakera is by no means a terrible show...it just isn't a very good one, either. With a stilted script and a team of heroes who feel incompetent, not to mention cookie cutter characters who do little to make themselves endearing or unusual, it does nothing to elevate itself above the masses.
When They Cry DVD 6More murderous psychosis is in order as the first season's final story arc delves into the foundations of the series' basic premises. While it does resolve some plot elements, the ending gives more the impression of a subtotal than a final bill.
