News Live-Action Casshern on North American DVD October 16

Paramount Home Video has solicited the North American DVD release of the Casshern live-action film for October 16. The DVD for Kazuaki Kiriya's remake of Tatsunoko Production's cyborg superhero animated series will include a Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround soundtrack with English subtitles. Dreamworks SKG' Go Fish Pictures division originally licensed the movie in 2004, but Paramount's parent company Viacom then bought the studio in 2005. Thanks, Daniel Zelter.
