News Manga Entertainment Expands Anime Download Offerings

Manga Entertainment has joined ADV Films, Geneon and Funimation in offering anime episodes for download on Microsoft's XBox Live Marketplace. Starting today, XBox Live users will be able to purchase and watch episodes of Manga's Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Street Fighter II V, the 1980 remake of Astro Boy, Virus, Noein, and Tokko. In addition, Manga will also distribute episodes of Stand Alone Complex via Amazon's Unbox service, and Manga's corporate parent, Starz Entertainment, has signed other download deals with BitTorrent, Netflix, and Guba.
