AnimeCons.com Launches Worldwide Convention Map
posted on 2007-09-24 18:33 EDTThe newest feature on AnimeCons.com, the Internet's largest database of anime and manga events throughout the world, is a Google-Maps-based worldwide convention map. Currently, it shows the locations of over 100 upcoming cons on four different continents. The map is currently in beta testing, and some of the additional features that are being developed include the ability to view locations of past conventions, and to limit results by specific type of event.

Watase's Fushigi Yûgi is without a doubt one of the titles to set the standard for what “manga” in the United States has come to be. For this reason alone, it is a must-read. But even if you couldn't care a whit about its historical significance, it's still a fun story that may be enjoyed purely on its own terms.
