1st Sci-Fi/Fantasy Video-On-Demand Channel Shows Anime
posted on 2007-10-03 13:39 EDTIllusion On-Demand, the self-described first video-on-demand (VOD) channel dedicated to science fiction and fantasy in North America, has launched this week with anime from Central Park Media in its initial lineup. For this month's Halloween theme, the channel is offering Kakurenbo: Hide and Seek, Black Jack: Infection, and Ichi: Zero. It is also offering Now and Then, Here and There, Shadow Star Narutaru, and Munto. In November, Illusion will air Mamoru Oshii's Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer movie. The network is available for free to digital subscribers of affiliates in 20 states, with more affiliates being planned.
