First Teaser Image of CG Astro Boy Footage Posted

The Hollywood Reporter industry newspaper has posted the first public teaser image of footage from the IMAGI Animation Studio's computer-graphics film adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga. The image is part of its profile on the film's new animation director, Jakob Jensen. IMAGI had previously released the teaser poster for the planned 2009 film. Jensen had previously worked for A-Film, Dreamworks Animation, and James Baxter Animation. The Danish artist was the senior supervising animator on Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and Flushed Away, as well as the character designer on Over the Hedge.
