Gundam 00 Opening Theme Tops Japanese Singles Chart

"Daybreak's Bell," L'Arc-en-Ciel's opening to the new Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series, has become the fourth Gundam song to reach the number one spot on the Oricon weekly singles chart in Japan. It sold just under 116,000 copies. The other three, all from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, were "Ignited" and "Vestige," both by T.M. Revolution, and "Bokutachi no Yukue" by Hitomi Takahashi.
