Network now has market penetration of 33 million homes in 95% of North America
A.D. Vision's Anime Network has announced that the Medicom cable television company has agreed to carry the channel as a subscription-based video-on-demand (SVOD) service starting this month. With the deal, The Anime Network's regular video-on-demand (VOD) service and SVOD service now have a combined market penetration of 33 million households in 95% of North America. Since it discontinued its 24/7 linear service this month, The Anime Network has been focusing its television service on its original core VOD services. It also still uses the Sprint Mobile streaming service for mobile phones and its own Online Player for personal computers.
