Viz's Live-Action Funky Forest DVD Ships in March

On March 18, Viz Films, the sister live-action film company to manga publisher Viz Media, will release the DVD for Funky Forest: The First Contact, an anthology of 21 absurdist shorts directed by Production I.G animator Katsuhito Ishii (Kill Bill's anime sequence). The film, which is the first created by the Funky Forest group that also includes Aniki and music video director Shunichiro Miki, features cameos from several actors and Gainax founder Hideaki Anno.
