Gonzo's Linebarrels of Iron Anime Promo Video Streamed

posted on by Egan Loo
Adaptation of "real battle action robot" manga to premiere at Anime Expo

The official website for Gonzo's anime adaptation of Linebarrels of Iron has posted a promotional video in standard, high, or ultra-high resolution. (The video requires the Microsoft Windows Vista or XP operating system with a recent version of Windows Media Player or Adobe Flash Player.) Director Masamitsu Hidaka (Pokémon, Juu Senshi Garukiba) leads the effort to adapt Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi's "real battle action robot" manga. The story follows a boy who is injured by a satellite accident and reawakens half a year later with strange powers. He eventually joins a medical conglomerate to pilot its Linebarrel robot. In July, Hidaka will be bringing the first episode of the series to Anime Expo in Los Angeles for its world premiere, before it airs in Japan.
