Kinokuniya NYC to Host HALICALI for Radio Interview

The new Books Kinokuniya branch in New York City will host the Japanese pop music duo HALCALI for a radio interview on May 30 from 6:00 p.m. The interview will be conducted in both English and Japanese and later broadcasted on Samurai Beat Radio on Japan's Tokyo FM station and JFN affiliates. Fans are invited to attend the interview on the bookstore's second floor near Cafe Zaiya. The same bookstore and radio program held an interview with fellow Japanese musical artist T.M. Revolution last month. HALCALI is also performing at Central Park's East Meadow during the Japan Day festivities on June 1.
HALCALI's two members, Yucali and halca, have released 11 singles and four albums since 2005. In anime, the two performed several theme songs including Eureka Seven's "Tip Taps Tip" ending theme and Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z's "Look" ending theme. HALCALI made their American debut at Anime Central earlier this month.
