5th Major Baseball Anime Series to Debut Next January

The 26th and final episode of the Major baseball television anime's fourth series has aired on Saturday in Japan, and a superimposed notice has announced that the fifth series will premiere in January 2009. Until then, repeats of the fourth series will run in the same timeslot beginning next Saturday, July 5. The anime is based on Takuya Mitsuda's long-running manga about a young pitcher who aspires to follow in his father's footsteps into the major league.
