The 40th Auckland International Film Festival will screen the Japanese animated films Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone and Vexille during the July 10-27 event in New Zealand. Hideaki Anno and Khara's first film in a four-film remake of Gainax's Evangelion science-fiction series will screen on July 19, 24, and 26. Vexille, Fumihiko Sori's paramilitary drama about a future Japan in techno-political isolation, will run twice on July 11 and repeat on July 12 and 14.discuss this in the forum (13 posts) |

Watase's Fushigi Yûgi is without a doubt one of the titles to set the standard for what “manga” in the United States has come to be. For this reason alone, it is a must-read. But even if you couldn't care a whit about its historical significance, it's still a fun story that may be enjoyed purely on its own terms.
Naruto Dub.DVD 1No, it isn't completely uncut, the characters don't swear like sailors and blood doesn't gush from every wound, but this mildly edited version of Naruto retains the spirit of the series and makes the show available to a whole new audience.
