Moyoco Anno's Ochibisan Manga Printed in Bilingual Book

posted on 2008-08-30 23:58 EDT
English translations accompany original pages by Sugar Sugar Rune, Sakuran artist

Asahi Shimbun Publicatons has compiled the first book collection of the Ochibisan newspaper gag manga by Moyoco Anno (Flowers and Bees, Happy Mania, Sugar Sugar Rune, Sakuran) — with the original Japanese version printed next to English translations. Ochibisan is the only manga title that the once prolific artist is currently drawing, since she put her other manga work, including Hataraki Man, on hiatus due to her health. The color Japanese version of each manga page is printed side-by-side with a black-and-white English version (as translated by Richard Berger).
