Helen McCarthy Interviewed for Osamu Tezuka Exhibit

UK website Eye on Anime has interviewed British author Helen McCarthy (The Anime Encyclopedia, Hayao Miyazaki: Master of Japanese Animation, The Erotic Anime Movie Guide) regarding manga and anime pioneer Osamu Tezuka. In the interview, McCarthy discusses her love for Tezuka and his impact on fans and other manga creators.
Barbican will commemorate Tezuka's 80th birthday with an exhibition of Tezuka's drawings, feature films, anime shorts, and full episodes from September 18 to September 24.
