Tokyopop's Pavia Interviewed, Reveals CSI License

The retail news website ICv2 has posted a two-part interview with Tokyopop's Associate Publisher Marco Pavia. Pavia speaks of the state of the North American manga and graphic novel market, as well as his company's publishing plans after its restructuring in June. Pavia also revealed that Tokyopop will release a CSI: Interns graphic novel based on the popular American crime drama franchise in September 2009. The manga, as written by Sekou Hamilton and illustrated by Steven Cummings (Pantheon High), focuses on a group of teenaged interns in the Las Vegas Criminal Investigations Unit. The interns discover that a body in the morgue is one of their own.
