News Police Ruled That Ai Iijima Died Due to Pneumonia
posted on 2009-02-06 02:57 EST
The police in the Tokyo ward of Shibuya have announced on Wednesday that the cause of death for former adult actress and media personality Ai Ījima was pneumonia. Ījima was found dead in her Tokyo apartment in December. The former Matsue Okubo began her career as an actress in late-night television and adult videos, but made a quick and successful transition as a mainstream media personality by 1993. She branched into film, countless television appearances, novels, and even manga.
She co-created the three-volume Time Traveler Ai manga with artist Takeshi Takebayashi. Central Park Media's CPM Manga division later licensed the story from Gakken and released it in North America from 1999 to 2001.

There is but one volume remaining to Ouran High School Host Club, and it has been a fun ride. While this book doesn't quite live up the earlier ones in terms of pure, lighthearted enjoyment, it is still solidly entertaining.
Cage of Eden has all of the elements of a classic survival epic – monsters, diseases, an unfriendly wilderness with no perceived escape, and our own ability as humans to lie. While it can be laid on a bit thick at times, and the fanservice or treatment of the adult female characters may be objectionable to some, Yamada's story is an engrossing one.
Nothing here shakes up the series the way parts of the last volume did, but it's consummate entertainment nonetheless: slick and effortlessly propulsive, yet still respectful of its audience and characters.

Goku eliminates the Red Ribbon Army and encounters Baba, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu for the first time as the series sets up for another big tournament run. It can be quite entertaining – even thrilling – at times, and for the slow parts? That's what the Fast Forward button is for.
