Mitsuru Adachi to Start Manga in Monthly Shonen Sunday

Creator of Touch, H2, Cross Game baseball manga to have new work in May

The official website for Shogakukan's upcoming Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine and newest issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine have announced on Wednesday that Mitsuru Adachi will launch a new manga series in Monthly Shonen Sunday's inaugural issue on May 12. Adachi is best known for his sports manga, particular his baseball titles Touch, H2, and Cross Game.

Weekly Shonen Sunday had announced last month that Adachi's Cross Game baseball manga will be adapted into a television anime this spring. This earlier manga also won the Boys' category in the 54th Shogakukan Manga Awards last month.
