2nd TV version of Hiromu Arakawa's fantasy manga to debut on April 5

The official Japanese website for Bones' new anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist dark fantasy manga has begun streaming its fourth television commercial. The commercial aired on Japanese television last Sunday.

The three previous commercials ran in December and last month. The three most recent commercials are still available for viewing. The anime series itself will premiere on April 5 in Japan. Yasuhiro Irie will direct, and Hiroshi Ohnogi is supervising the scripts. Romi Paku and Rie Kugimiya have signed on to reprise their lead roles of Edward and Alphonse Elric, respectively, while mostly new castmembers will voice the remaining characters.

Viz Media will publish the 18th volume of the manga version in North America in May, and FUNimation Entertainment released both the first television series and its theatrical movie finale.
