Missing Reported Anime Con-Goer from Oklahoma Found

Deborah Fourzan found with family acquaintance in Washington state on Saturday

Washington Highway Patrol have found 14-year-old Deborah Kalai Fourzan and 41-year-old family acquaintance James Reimer on Saturday afternoon, more than a month after they were reported missing on February 2. Fourzan is reportedly safe and unharmed. Authorities believed that the two left their hometown of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and were traveling to various anime conventions on their way to California.

Reimer was arrested at about 3:00 p.m. PDT after being stopped for routine traffic violations in Montesano, in southwest Washington. Authorities did not report any verified sightings of the two at conventions, despite a profile on the America's Most Wanted program that generated viewer tips. Police are seeking to add felony kidnapping charges to Reimer's existing charges for allegedly soliciting sexual conduct or communications with a minor by the use of technology.
