News TAF Attracts 129,819 Visitors, Announces 2010 Dates

The Tokyo International Anime Fair announced that 54,115 visitors (including 204 press representatives) came to this year's event on its final day, which was Saturday. That brings the total number of visitors for all four days to 129,819 (including 1,133 overseas business visitors and 1,472 press visitors). That is a 2.52% increase compared to last year's total of 126,622. 12,692 and 13,334 people visited on the business days of Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. 49,678 visited on Friday, the first public day of the convention.
Next year's event will run from March 25 to March 28 at the Tokyo Big Sight event center. Just like this year, the first two days will be open only to industry professionals and press.
