Ai Ohtsuka's Love Letter Concert DVDs to Bundle Anime

The Avex music and entertainment company has announced on Monday that it will release a premium box for singer Ai Ohtsuka's recent concert tour with about 20 minutes of clay animation. The Ohtsuka Ai Love Letter Tour 2009 - Premium Box- will ship with three DVDs on September 23. The first disc ("Channel Keshite Ai-chan-Neru!") was already released in a standalone edition in May, and it includes Ohtsuka's tour footage in the smaller venues. The second disc ("Light Terashite, Ai to Yume to Kandō to…Warai to!") will include her tour footage in arenas. The third disc will feature supplemental footage, including about 20 minutes of clay animation that was created specifically for use in her arena tour.
Ohtsuka's songs were used as the ending theme of the Black Jack television anime series and background music in the live-action Hana Yori Dango [2005] television series. Although she was not involved in Ohtsuka's tour, the late Nagi Noda created stop-motion animation for YUKI and other musicians as well as the opening credits for the animated Honey and Clover television series.
