Afterellen.com Streams Aoi Hana from Crunchyroll
posted on 2009-07-15 00:45 EDT
Afterellen.com, a website for the lesbian community that boasts 700,000 readers a month, began streaming the Aoi Hana: Sweet Blue Flowers yuri anime series off the Crunchyroll website on Friday evening. Crunchyroll has been streaming this adaptation of Takako Shimura's yuri manga since July 1, but it is the first anime presented by Afterellen.com. The website's name is inspired by actress Ellen DeGeneres' 1997 coming-out and the societal and cultural changes since then. Yuricon founder and ALC Publishing President Erica Friedman contributed a review of the anime to the website to mark its streaming.
Thank you to Erica Friedman for the news tip.
