Tokyo Magnitude 8.0's 1st episode is highest ranked debut in Noitamina slot

The first episode of Bones' Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 was the highest rated first episode of any series in Noitamina, Fuji TV's late-night anime timeslot. Its 5.8% rating topped Nodame Cantabile's first episode (5.4%). Nodame Cantabile: Paris' ninth episode is still the highest rated Noitamina episode overall at 6.6%, followed by Hakaba Kitarō's 11th episode at 5.8%. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 depicts the aftermath of an 8.0 earthquake on the metropolis of Tokyo. It follows two schoolchildren and a motorcycle delivery woman as they journey from Tokyo Bay's Odaiba Island to Western Tokyo.
