News James Cameron Lists Needed Tech for Battle Angel Film

Oscar-winning director James Cameron (Titanic, Terminator) told the MTV Splash Page blog about the three technologies from his current film Avatar that would enable a live-action Battle Angel Alita/GUNNM film — if one is made. Cameron still says he is "going to look at" a film adaptation of Yukito Kishiro's manga as his next film, but offered no commitments. He did note that "Battle Angel will be very straightforward" because of three technologies being developed for Avatar: the Fusion 3D camera system, facial performance capture, and the Simulcam for real-time compositing of computer-graphics characters with real actors.discuss this in the forum (10 posts) |

Cage of Eden has all of the elements of a classic survival epic – monsters, diseases, an unfriendly wilderness with no perceived escape, and our own ability as humans to lie.
