Polysics Rock Band Announces U.S. Tour in 14 Cities

Band on Sgt. Frog, Moyashimon soundtracks to perform in January, February
The POLYSICS rock band has announced on its website that it will be performing an American tour in January and February of 2010. The band will perform in 14 locations:
- 01/28 - Bottom of the Hill - San Francisco, CA
- 01/29 - The Roxy Theatre - Los Angeles, CA
- 01/30 - The Casbah - San Diego, CA
- 02/02 - Plush - Tucson, AZ
- 02/03 - The Rhythm Room - Phoenix, AZ
- 02/05 - The White Rabbit - San Antonio, TX
- 02/06 - The Independent - Austin, TX
- 02/07 - The Loft - Dallas, TX
- 02/10 - Double Door - Chicago, IL
- 02/11 - Magic Stick - Detroit, MI
- 02/12 - Musica - Akron, OH
- 02/13 - The Gramercy Theatre - New York, NY
- 02/14 - The Middle East - Cambridge, MA
- 02/16 - The Rock and Roll Hotel - Washington, DC
POLYSICS performed the fifth opening theme song for the Sgt. Frog anime series and the ending theme song for the Tales of Agriculture (Moyashimon) anime series. The band released their latest album "Absolute POLYSICS" in Japan in September of this year. According to the band's website, MySpace Records will release the album "in the near future." The band will release a best album called "POLYSICS BESTOISU!!!!" in Japan on January 13.
The band previously toured the U.S. and Canada in 2007.
