B Gata H Kei, Working!! to premiere in April, Hetalia film to open in June

The Japanese website for the television anime adaptation of Yōko Sanri's B Gata H Kei four-panel school comedy manga has begun streaming a 15-second promotional video Thursday. (In the above link, click on the "視聴する (500K)," "(1M)," or "(2M)" buttons for the respective bandwidth sizes.) The video features Yukari Tamura's opening theme song "Oshiete A to Z." B Gata H Kei will premiere on April 1.

In the anime, Yukari Tamura will play the heroine Yamada, a virgin high school student who dreams of having 100 casual sex partners. However, she ends up targeting and pursuing only one boy. The manga has been running in Weekly Young Jump magazine since 2003 and seven compiled book volumes have been published so far.

The Animate.tv website has begun streaming a 64-second teaser trailer for the upcoming Ginmaku Hetalia - Axis Powers Paint it, White [Shiroku Nure!] ("Hetalia - Axis Powers on the Silver Screen: Paint it, White") film, which is scheduled to open on June 5.

The movie will adapt Hidekaz Himaruya's Hetalia - Axis Powers web manga, just as the two earlier television seasons did, and a third season, which began airing Friday. The manga and anime take the archetypal characteristics of about 20 countries and regions, and anthropomorphize them as (mostly) bishōnen characters. Funimation licensed the first two television seasons for North America.

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Karino Takatsu's Working!! four-panel manga has posted a 40-second Souma "character trailer." The video focuses on the kitchen chef, Hiroomi Souma (Hiroshi Kamiya). The previous promotional videos, character trailers, and commercials are still available from the same page. In the story, a high school freshman named Sōta Takanashi (Jun Fukuyama) works part-time among the restaurant's high-spirited, eccentric, yet cool staffers. The television anime will officially premiere on April 4.
