Umizaru's 3rd Live-Action Film to Get 3D Conversion

The Japanese movie news website Cinema Today reports on Monday that The Last Message: Umizaru, the third theatrical film adaptation of Shuho Sato's Umizaru coast guard manga, is being converted from 2D to 3D.
The original story follows the lives of divers in the Japanese Coast Guard. Limit of Love, which is the second Umizaru film, earned 2006's highest box office take among all Japanese films except for Tales from Earthsea. The manga also spawned two television drama series, including one with the same cast as the films.
The film is slated for a theatrical release on September 18.
