Luna Sea Announces Reunion, World Tour

The members of the Japanese rock band Luna Sea announced their reunion and a world tour at their press conference on Tuesday in Hong Kong. The tour is titled "20th Anniversary World Tour Reboot -to the New Moon-" and will begin in Germany on November 27. Locations in December include Los Angeles (December 4), Hong Kong (December 11), Taipei (December 18), and Tokyo (December 23-24). Other locations will be added and the tour will contain new songs. The band members explained the press conference was held in Hong Kong because it was the city where they announced their breakup in 2000.
Luna Sea was formed in 1989 with Ryuichi as the vocalist, Sugizo playing guitar and violin, Inoran as another guitarist, J playing bass, and Shinya on drums. After breaking up in 2000, the band reunited for a one-night concert on December 24, 2007 in Tokyo.
