AVCon 2011 Announcements on Events, Tickets

Cosplay registrations opened, Artist Alley applications closed and Gold Tickets available soon.
Adelaide's anime and video game convention AVCon has made several announcements in the last week regarding the 2011 convention being held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from July 22nd to July 24th.
- Gold Tickets, giving purchasers priority access to all AVCon events, access to VIP panels with special guests and exclusive merchandise, will go on sale online from midnight (12:01AM) on April 16th. A limit of 50 Gold Tickets will be available for purchase at $120 each or $150 including an AVCon hoodie. Standard pre-registration tickets will also go up in price on April 16th, to $40. Tickets can be bought at the early bird price of $35 until this date.
- Cosplay registrations are now open for AVCon's Cosplay Competition, Cosplay Chess and Cosplay Mystery Date events. The non-competitive Cosplay Parade will not require registration and registrations for the Adelaide round of the Madman National Cosplay Championships are handled through its website.
- AVCon's Artist Alley is now full. Confirmation emails will be sent to artists successfully securing a place in the alley.
