OzTaku Holding Manga and Origami Classes in Libraries

Several Melbourne libraries will host manga and origami classes held by Oztaku during the school holidays.

Manga artist collective Oztaku will hold manga-drawing and beginner origami classes in various libraries across Melbourne. The set of classes will be held during school holidays, and certain classes will have an age limit on who may attend.

The dates provided for the school holiday manga classes are as follows:

  • 13th April: Carnegie Library, 1:30PM to 3:30PM. All ages.
  • 15th April: Doveton Library, 10:30AM to 12:00PM. Ages 12 to 16.
  • 15th April: Oakleigh Library, 2:30PM to 3:30PM. Ages 12 and up.
  • 18th April: Box Hill Library, 2:30PM to 4:00PM. Ages 12 to 16.

Beginner origami classes will be held at Oakleigh Library on he following dates:

  • 12th April: 2:30PM to 3:30PM. Ages 5 to 7.
  • 21st April: 2:30PM to 3:30PM. Ages 8 and up.

Starting from April 28th, OzTaku will also run weekly all-ages workshops every Thursday from 6:00PM to 7:00PM at Melbourne City Library.

OzTaku has advised that individual libraries may be contacted for more information on each class.
