Redline Scheduled for DVD/BR Release November 14

Madhouse racing spectacular is pushed back again.

In a twitter message, Manga Entertainment said that the SF-racing film Redline would be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 14. There will also be a "doubleplay" pack in a slip cover, containing the DVD, Blu-Ray and a booklet.

The release date was previously September, then pushed back to (provisionally) mid-October.

Redline has had cinema screenings around the UK in recent months as part of the We Love Japan roadshow. The film follows JP, a daredevil driver with his customized vehicle named "Trans Am." He enters an interplanetary tournament, held once every five years, where the deadliest racers compete. The film is produced by the Studio MADHOUSE and directed by Takeshi Koike (The Animatrix's "World Record").
