Voice Actress Group Sphere's Blu-ray Disc Ranks #1

The Sphere Live 2010 sphere On Love, On Nippon Budōkan event Blu-ray disc sold 6,081 copies in its first week of sales, ranking at #1 on Oricon's weekly chart. The disc was released on August 31.
The Blu-ray disc covers Sphere's concert at Tokyo's Nippon Budōkan event hall on November 23. The disc also contains a making of video, and a video of what was projected on the stage's screens at the concert.
Sphere is made up of four voice actresses: Minako Kotobuki, Ayahi Takagaki, Haruka Tomatsu, and Aki Toyosaki. The band formed in 2009, and has since released eight singles and two albums. Sphere's previous ~Sphere's rings live tour 2010~ Final Live + Sphere in 3D Blu-ray Disc concert release debuted at #3 on Oricon's chart in January.
Sphere launched its own television program on the NTV station in July. The group also recently voiced Pokémon creatures in the two Pokémon feature films, Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Victini to Kuroki Eiyū Zekrom and Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Victini to Shiroki Eiyū Reshiram, which both opened on July 16.
