Rhythm action PSP game ships in Japan on November 10

The Hatsune Miku Project Diva channel on the Nico Nico Douga website began streaming a promotional video featuring virtual Vocaloid idol Kagamine Rin from the rhythm action game Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- extend. In the gameplay video, Kagamine Rin performs the Gin Saku song "Iroha Uta." Illustrator Riria009 designed the look of Kagamine Rin that appears in the second half of the video.

There will be a playable version of Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- extend at Tokyo Game Show 2011, which will run from September 15 to 18 in Chiba, Japan. The game will ship in Japan on November 10 and cost 5,229 yen (about US$68).

Another game in the Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- series, Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- Arcade appeared at the 2011 J-Pop Summit Festival. In May, Nico Nico Douga also began streaming footage of the -extend- version, back when it was still tentatively named Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- Ver. 2.5.
