Anime on Demand Announces Un-Go

Studio BONES' new detective series, featuring several talents from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Anime on Demand has confirmed that it will be streaming the anime series Un-Go, animated by Studio BONES and featuring several of the creative talents from Fullmetal Alchemist.

UN-GO (pronounced 'ango') follows Shinjurou Yuuki, the 'Last Great Detective' in futuristic post-war Tokyo. He is considered by the public to be no more than a failed detective, as classic detective work involving deductive reasoning is considered no match for modern technology. Despite this, Shinjurou feels he has no choice but to follow his own intuition.

UN-GO is directed by Seiji Mizushima (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Fullmetal Alchemist), written by Shou Aikawa (Fullmetal Alchemist, Gad Guard), with character design helmed by illustrators pako (Scared Rider Xechs) and Yun Kouga (Mobile Suit Gundam 00).

The announcement follows Friday's news that Mirai Nikki will be AoD's first license of the new season (beginning Sunday October 9). At least three more anime should be announced by AoD next week.
