Countrywide We Love Anime Screenings Announced November 26 and 27 (Updated)

Anime screenings in 20 cinemas, including Belfast (special programme), London, York and Aberdeen.

Scotland Loves Animation has announced countrywide screenings of anime films on Saturday November 26. There will be an extra London screening on Sunday November 27.

Most cinemas will show the following films: Tekken: Blood Vengeance (pictured), Mardock Scramble: The First Compression, Mardock Scramble: The Second Combustion, and Kids Club screenings of Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva. The Cinemagic cinema in Belfast will be showing its own programme of films between November 17 and 28, details below.

The full list of cinemas follows, although the press release notes that not all the cinemas will show all the films. According to the release, there will also be prizes and special offers.

SATURDAY 26TH NOVEMBER:

London – The Aubin Cinema, 64-66 Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, LONDON, E2 7DP

The Cinemagic cinema in Belfast will be showing its own We Love Anime programme from November 17 as part of the Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival. Tickets are £5, or £4 concessions. The Belfast screenings will include:

- Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D (November 17, 7 p.m.)

- Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW (November 19, 3 p.m)

- a triple bill of Coicent (Koisento), Five Numbers! (Norageki!) and the first part of Towa no Quon (November 26, 7 p.m.)

- and Bleach: Fade to Black - Kimi no Na o Yobu (November 28, 7 p.m.)

The announcement coincides with the end of the We Love Anime screenings in Edinburgh. The mystery film on Sunday was revealed to be the CGI fantasy Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror, animated by Production I.G
