Pokémon: Black and White Season 2 to Premiere on June 21 (Updated)

The June issue of CoroCoro Comic magazine is confirming more details about the Pocket Monsters: Best Wishes! (Pokémon Black and White) anime and Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, the latest games in Nintendo's Pokémon franchise, on Tuesday. Pocket Monsters: Best Wishes! Season 2 will premiere on June 21. Team Rocket boss Sakaki (Giovanni) will appear in the new arc.
The following characters are returning to compete in the Pokémon World Tournament, an all-star battle between Gym Leaders and Champions in Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2: Sinnoh-region Champion Shirona (Cynthia), Kanto Gym Leader Takeshi (Brock), Kanto Gym Leader Kasumi (Misty), Kanto Gym Leader Sakaki, Kanto Champion Green (Blue), Sinnoh Gym Leader Denji (Volkner), Hoenn Gym Champion Daigo (Steven), and Johto Champion Wataru (Lance).
The characters of the Pokémon Black and Pokémon White games are returning for the two new games, which are set two years later. Bel (Bianca) is now helping Professor Araragi (Juniper), and Cheren is now a Gym Leader.
Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 will ship in Japan on June 23, and then they will arrive in North America and Europe this fall. The manga version of the new games started in Monthly CoroCoro Comic's May issue.
