Glen Eira Storytelling Festival on this Weekend in Melbourne.

The Glen Eira council in Melbourne is hosting it's annual Glen Eira Storytelling Festival and they will be running a manga workshop and back to back screening of My Neighbour Totoro and Princess Mononoke over the weekend;

The Glen Eira Storytelling Festival is a two week event that aims to "celebrate storytelling through writing, film, visual art, music and performance". They have planned the following events this weekend of particular interest;

Sunday 24th June - from 10am in the Boyd Room, Carnegie Library and Community Centre, 7 Shepparson Avenue, Carnegie. Comics Market: Showcase of Australian artists selling comics - Details are here.

Sunday 24th June - 1pm to 4pm in the Boyd Room, Carnegie Library and Community Centre, 7 Shepparson Avenue, Carnegie. Manga Workshop: Beginners class covering drawing faces in the manga style - Details are here.

Monday 25th June - 7pm at the Classic Cinema, 9 Gordon St, Elsternwick. Studio Ghibli screening: My Neighbour Totoro & Princess Mononoke - Details here.
