Otakon to Host Kids on the Slope Voice Actress Yuuka Nanri

Otakon announced on Wednesday that voice actress and singer Yuuka Nanri will appear as a guest at this year's convention.
The 28-year-old debuted as the character Bubbles in the Japanese version of the American animated television series The Powerpuff Girls in 2001. Nanri's roles as an anime voice actress include Kids on the Slope's Ritsuko Mukae, Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne's Erika Takakura, Gunslinger Girl's Henrietta, and Macross Zero's Mao Nome.
Nanri was recruited for Yuki Kajiura's musical project FictionJunction in 2003, and she has since released seven singles and two albums as “FictionJunction YUUKA.” She has performed various theme songs with Kajiura, and she also began a solo career in 2009. Nanri has contributed theme songs to anime such as Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Ōkamikakushi, Sacred Seven, Madlax, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, and .hack//Quantum.
Otakon 2012 will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland from July 27–29.
