Annual Perth anime convention returns to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 2nd and 3rd of February 2013. Their special guests include Kyle Hebert (Dragon Ball Z, Blue Exorcist) and Kara Edwards (Dragon Ball Z, Chaos;HEAd).

Kyle Hebert is a voice actor most famously known for his role as the adult Gohan and the Narrator of Dragon Ball Z. While he started as a radio announcer on Radio Disney, in 2005 Kyle changed cities and careers moving from Dallas to Los Angeles to pursue voice acting. He is known for his roles at Kamina in Gurren Lagann, Ryuji "Bon" Suguro in Blue Exorcist, Kiba Inuzuka from Naruto Shippūden and Ryu from Street Fighter IV. Kyle will be hosting the Video Game Acting panel on Saturday at 10:00am in the Panels Room (M6), be at Dragon Ball Z with Kyle and Kara on Saturday at 12:00pm in the Riverside Theatre and running DragonBald: A Dragonball: Evolution Roast on Sunday at 3:00pm in the Panels Room (M6).

Kara Edwards started work for Radio Disney alongside Kyle Hebert in the late 1990's in the "Squeege and Kara" show. While working for Disney, Kara auditioned for Dragon Ball Z and was cast in the role of Lime and later young Goten. She has starred in Chaos;HEAd as Kozue Orihara, Heaven's Lost Property as Nymph and SoltyRei as Celica Yayoi. Kara will be co-hosting Dragon Ball Z with Kyle and Kara on Saturday at 12:00pm in the Riverside Theatre, running How To Develop A Character Voice on Saturday at 3:00pm in the Panels Room (M6) and Capturing Cosplay on Sunday at 10:00am in the Panels Room (M6).

Wai-Con has become a pretty large event, so here's a few of our highlights.

And we will be attending the following two panels and reporting on any new acquisitions over facebook and twitter (Remember all times are AWST and there is no DST).

In addition ANN|AU will be running a Year in Review panel at 4:00pm on Saturday in the Workshop Room.
