"Kimi ni 100 Percent"/"Furisodeshon" sells 21,000 & scores singer's best ranking

"Kimi ni 100 Percent"/"Furisodeshon", the fourth CD single from model/singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, sold 21,000 copies in its debut to rank #3 on Oricon's weekly sales chart. Not only is it her fourth straight top-10 single, it is the highest-ranking single in her career so far.

"Kimi ni 100 Percent" is the new opening theme song that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu sang for the Crayon Shin-chan television anime. As a self-described huge Crayon Shin-chan fan who has all of the original manga volumes, she even played herself in an animated cameo in the January 25 episode. She sang "Furisodeshon" to celebrate becoming an adult in Japanese society; she turned 20 on the day before the single went on sale.

The single debuted on January 30, and Oricon recorded sales from January 28 to February 3 for its latest sales chart. Before this single, the highest weekly sales ranking that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu had achieved was #5 with her third CD single ("Fashion Monster"). As part of her 10-country "100%KPP World Tour," Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will perform in Los Angeles on April 12 and in New York City on April 14.
