Sci-fi manga from Daemon Hunters creator debuted in 2006

Seiuchiroh Todono's Eleven Soul manga ended in the May issue of Mag Garden's Comic Blade magazine on Saturday. Todono (Daemon Hunters) launched Eleven Soul in the magazine in 2006.

Mag Garden published the 14th compiled book volume in the science-fiction series in January, and the 15th and final volume will ship in June. The online manga website JManga added the manga in November, and published two volumes before the site announced it will be ending its service in May.

The story takes place in the mid-21st century, where the "Shaher," an evolved race that takes in genetic material from the natural world, is invading human society. A new breed of surgically-reinforced super-soldiers in Japan, including 16-year-old Takemichi, are fighting against the Shaher.

ADV Manga released the first volume of Todono's seven-volume Daemon Hunters manga in 2004.
