In the story, a meteorite suddenly unleashes evil creatures that threaten all living things on the planet. The fairy Syrup assembles the Aquafall Defence Force, with three girls of the dragon clans as recruits. Cast members include Kana Hanazawa as Syrup, the talkative fairy; Saori Hayami as Leviathan, a girl who has forgotten how to smile; Eri Kitamura as Bahamut, an extravagant high-class lady; and Ayana Taketatsu as Jörmungandr, a kind girl with amazing strength.

Takaharu Okuma (Hanaukyo Maid-tai, Kotoura-san, Magician's Academy, Mitsudomoe) is designing the characters, and Tomoki Kikuya (Hidamari Sketch, Squid Girl) and Shiho Terada (Inazuma Eleven GO) are composing the music. The anime will premiere in Japan on April 6.
