London Lady Snowblood Screening April 24

Londpn's Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square will screen the 1973 live-action film Lady Snowblood on Wednesday April 24 at 9 p.m. Tickets are available here (click the "Lady Snowblood" link), costing £6.50 or £4 concessions.

Adapted from the manga by Kazuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub), Lady Snowblood features Meiko Kaji as a swordswoman seeking vengeance for the fate of her mother. It was a strong influence on Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill.
